Fortunately, there are several things you can do to soothe your teething baby and make the process a little easier.

Tip #1: Offer Cold Objects for Chewing One of the best ways to soothe a teething baby is to offer cold objects for them to chew on. This can help numb their gums and relieve some of the discomfort. You can try offering a cold washcloth, a teething ring that's been chilled in the refrigerator, or frozen fruits or vegetables in a mesh feeder.

Tip #2: Massage Your Baby's Gums Massaging your baby's gums can also help soothe teething pain. Gently rub your baby's gums with a clean finger or a soft, wet washcloth. You can also try applying a small amount of clove oil to your finger and rubbing it on your baby's gums. However, be sure to dilute the clove oil and use it sparingly, as too much can be harmful.

Tip #3: Provide Extra Comfort Teething can be stressful for babies, and providing extra comfort can help them feel more at ease. Offer extra cuddles and snuggles, and try to stick to your baby's regular routine as much as possible. You can also offer distractions such as toys or books to help take their mind off the discomfort.
